I just upgraded to wordpress 3.0 and made the mistake of forgetting to deactivate my plugins before upgrading which resulted in a fatal error. I had to log into the server and put all of my plugins into a random folder I created in order to regain control of my website. I won’t make that mistake again – and nor should you. Consider this a friendly reminder to all my fellow wordpresseurs – turn that shit off yo!
